I won't be able to get him to walk, or move his body much, but the head has all the visemes, and he can use AccuLips. Head and neck turns too. He can sit at a table and talk about cat food, if I wish.

I'd like to add Blink and Smile morphs into his head, but all I get is the error message about "incompatible meshes."

Anybody got any ideas?

Yes, I'm acquainted with that thread.

That Kellytoons screen shot is exactly how they come in. At that point you have two choices.

One, straighten the bones out manually and use for stills, as I did with the critter in the pic I posted. These will never walk. Or two, bring in as a separate head and body, and link them. I've done both. Both have posing issues.

Either way, turning them (animals) into Humanoids does something wacky to them. Even Edit Motion Layer - IK can cause a bone to "flip out." They're not stable. The process also makes the transferring of the morphs less than totally reliable. I gave the Morph Creator a try, thinking maybe I can add a morph manually. It looks like a handy tool. The Creature characterization works well, pity it has no speech ability.

EDIT
I should have worded this question more clearly.
