I am trying to open the hub and when it opens it tells me that I need to perform a major update. When I click OK it tries to load and then the message reappears. I then need to End the Task to get it to close because it goes on a never-ending cycle. I then went on to the Reallusion Hub website to try and download the latest version. It downloaded into my downloads folder. However, when I click on it nothing happens. This is very frustrating because now I am stuck I can't update within the existing version or open the new version.
I have the latest version of Windows 10 and I tried deleting the update folder with the registry but that did nothing. Hope you can help!

There's a hotfix in this forum post that helped me with the same issue: https://forum.reallusion.com/540060/Reallusion-Hub-not-working#bm540309

To be able to reinstall you first need to uninstall your current version.

So go to Start > All Apps, find the Reallusion Hub, then right click it and choose Uninstall. Once uninstalled you should be able to install the latest full version that you downloaded.

Please Note: If you still have problems installing, do try right clicking the installer and choose "Run as Administrator".

I have tried to uninstall it but nothing happened- right click - uninstall and it just remains there. So I deleted it manually by dragging it to the recycling bin. I have tried turning off the anti-virus / firewall  - then I double click on the downloaded update I get the eggtimer flick up for a second and then NOTHING. Why is it so difficult to install this thing? this is ridiculous

Update: I just downloaded the hotfix from google - the same thing happens when I click it - nothing happens?
