I have the same issue, also on a Zenbook. The hub is EXTREMELY slow and fragile, if I click before waiting 2min for everything to load, crash. If I right click crash. If I try to close the tray icon crash. Etc. Took me 100 attempts to be able to download one of the product. Unusable ot the point that I cannot even get to the hub settings to disable launch on start.

Hallo Peter ich habe mir I Clone 8 für 499 Euro mal geleistet und mein Smart Content Manager wird seit Stunden initialisiert und es passiert nichts das ich etwas einladen kann. Hast Du ein Rat ?

Hello all,
Im keen for a solution. Hub is not working. I have tried to reinstall but it will not open. It was telling me: "Failed to get member login info, service is not available. Please wait a moment and then refresh the Reallusion Hub" After many hours... and multiple reinstalls of Hub, I now get no message and Hub crashes on open.
I need to reinstall Iclone 8 so I can get some work done - why do I need to reinstalled Iclone 8... it was being difficult and I thought a quick reinstall should fix it. Ive now lost 2 days. Not happy. Am learning how to use Cascaduer while I wait.

It turns out that the HUB update interferes with Kaspersky.
What the @#$%
Do the Kiddies at Iclone not test their software before releasing it. Everyone uses virus software for #$%$^ sake.
This lack or professionalism really shits me and waistes time of professional who think they are using a professional software.... but perhaps we are not !
It is a great program, but please, dont fail yourselves trusting kiddies to get it right. check their work!

Be aware that virus protection programs do give false positives. I've updated the Hub without issues, but then again I don't use Kaspersky but something else.

If you don’t mind me asking, what do you use Ani? I haven’t used antivirus with my animation computer. But I’m going to build a gaming desktop and will use it for more than animation. Trying to find a low overhead antivirus program that avoids issue with Reallusion Hub and Content Manager.
