I have the same issue, also on a Zenbook. The hub is EXTREMELY slow and fragile, if I click before waiting 2min for everything to load, crash. If I right click crash. If I try to close the tray icon crash.
Etc.
Took me 100 attempts to be able to download one of the product. Unusable ot the point that I cannot even get to the hub settings to disable launch on start.

Hallo Peter ich habe mir I Clone 8 für 499 Euro mal geleistet und mein Smart Content Manager wird seit Stunden initialisiert und es passiert nichts das ich etwas einladen kann. Hast Du ein Rat ?

Smart Content Manager requires an online connection so do check if your security software is blocking access.
If the problem persists, please try clicking the link below which explains how to reset your Smart Content Manager database. This may fix the problem for you if the database is corrupted.

Hello all,
Im keen for a solution. Hub is not working. I have tried to reinstall but it will not open. It was telling me: "Failed to get member login info, service is not available. Please wait a moment and then refresh the Reallusion Hub" After many hours... and multiple reinstalls of Hub, I now get no message and Hub crashes on open.
I need to reinstall Iclone 8 so I can get some work done - why do I need to reinstalled Iclone 8... it was being difficult and I thought a quick reinstall should fix it. Ive now lost 2 days. Not happy. Am learning how to use Cascaduer while I wait.
