I like the 3d style drawings that I can produce in Blender (very new to Blender). I only need to animate in 2d, although I'm not against using a 3d animation software, which I assume would be iClone8.
I guess I just wanted to know if it were possible to create a character in Blender and use that Character in Cartoon Animator. You can render images from any 3D software including Blender and then use those 2D images to create a character in Cartoon Animator 5. You will need to render the images in the correct poses which would be an A-Pose, 45 degree angle and full side profile. Optionally you might want to render a back view in A-Pose if you might need that in CTA5 as well.
If you are not sure of the type of poses you need, just take one of the G3 characters that come with CTA5 into Composer mode to see an example.
