All of a sudden - just within the past 2 days - my Character Creator 4 is running ULTRA slow. Not sure why. I cleaned up my cache, I ran every computer scan I can think of, I optimized the computer so it runs faster - but still nothing. I am running Task Manager in the background and everything looks FINE. I'm only using up 18% of my memory, and only 34% of disk space and that's WITH Google Chrome open. So CC4 isn't using up an unusual amount of resources - NOTHING is. What's WEIRD is Iclone 8 runs just fine. Smooth as silk. I just don't get it. It isn't just the specific project file I'm opening either - it happens with 2 sepearte project files I've tried and each one has entirely different assets loading. Is this happening to anyone else??

You mention problems with two existing projects, but what about if you start a new project and begin working on a character? Is this running slow or is everything normal? Also are iClone 8 and CC4 installed on the same hard drive?

Same. All CC4 runs really slow. Customer Support reached out to me and I'm going to try their fix when I get home. I did uninstall and reinstall the program already, but there was a setp I missed. Hopefully that works. Other than running abysmally slow, the program works - it just has to be something happening when it loads.

The answer was cleaning out the Temp files. When I loaded CC4 I put the Temp files for the program on an external SSD so they wouldn't clog up my computer. Then I conveniently FORGOT that I put them there. When I cleared those out everything worked fine. Customer Support did a good job. The Temp files should really be cleared out quarterly to prevent this sort of thing.
