It doesn't matter the frame rate when you talk about audio - audio is a whole different ballgame and is the same "rate" regardless of the frame rate. My workflow is to capture in iClone 7 (only because it's less resource hungry) at the "normal" default 60fps and transfer over to 8 where I DO output at 24 fps (single frames for animation, of course). It works fine that way, even with two PN3 suits at the same time (however, I use the "dummy" avatar in 7 as a position holder, even when I'm also capturing facial animation at the same time, because it's less resources. This CAN be an issue depending on the sets you are using).

I am attempting to ascertain best practices when using Axis Studio and PN3 in relation to frame rate for iClone 8. Currently, I will either stream or capture the mocap in a 24p project in iClone vs. setting iClone 8 to 60p. Does anyone know if this poses a problem? Should I set iClone 8 to 60p and then later change the project settings to 24p? Would this affect audio?
