So, I've been struggling with this all night last night and I figured I would see if anyone else has any thoughts. I'm using "A line bob long" Hair from reallusion store, and the shader just refuses to work in Blender! It looks fine in CC and Iclone, and the shader parameters work fine for editing the color, roots, highlights and all that. But when I export to Blender the Hair comes in solid black. 75% of original size (was 667x19) - Click to enlargehttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/b6ac8694-df27-4da2-adf3-db1a.png75% of original size (was 667x19) - Click to enlargehttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/c5875aaa-54a4-4aef-8526-eaad.pngEverything works fine inside CC and Iclone.Lighting and everything works just fine.75% of original size (was 667x19) - Click to enlargehttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/abee8560-db2d-469b-9dd7-ff62.png Now in blender the Hair color, roughness, transparency, etc. don't show up. Never had this Issue before. Anyone have any ideas what's going on? I'm at a loss...

My guess would be that the hair mesh has blank vertex colour data, which is used for some color blending in the hair shader. If the data is blank it will cause the entire hair material to be set to the vertex colour parameter (which is likely to be black if it hasn't been set).

Vertex colours should default to white, which would cause no additional blending, but I've seen some meshes where they are set to black.

Try setting the "Vertex Color Strength" parameter to 0.0 in all the hair materials for that mesh, from the material parameters panel:

My man!!! Thank you! That fixed it right up! Can't believe I've been wrestling with something so simple for so long! Much appreciated!
