The best I have found is to assume that message is just incorrect, and just break the looped animation at the end of the first segment. The remaining loop then merges to one clip and you can edit key frames in the two resulting clips.

I have a miximo running animation and I’ve looped it. For some reason, while the first segment stays on the ground, the next three progressively rise up in the air.
I’ve tried to use motion direction control to bring it down level, but that always immediately crashes iclone. I assume it’s not compatible with loops.
So instead I’ve tried to disable ik on the feet and bring the runner down using hip translation. I can’t do either of those steps though, because it says “can’t set key frames on a motion loop, please flatten the motion clip and try again”. Flattening or sampling makes no change to that message preventing any key frames though. It will bring up keys or flatten them in the first segment, but it doesn’t get rid of the loop or allow you to set key frames.
So the question is, is there some way to flatten a motion loop?
