Hi...

Unfortunately we don't currently have a tutorial on SVG 360 head creation using Illustrator.

However, you can find a lot important information (some Illustrator specific) in the PDF document found in the Vector Resources below. You can also find sample files and templates to help get you started.

https://www.reallusion.com/cartoon-animator/custom-2d-character.html

In addition, you can also find general 360 Head creation tutorials on the page below which are still relevant when using SVG files.

Hi Peter,
Unfortunately I am one of the many thousands of creatives who suffer from dyslexia and really need a visual tutorial.
This new feature is exactly what animators wished for to be able to zoom in and out without losing the sharpness, to change colours and show/ hide opacity.
You’ve upgraded all the packs to svg but we have to send them to photoshop instead of a Vector editor?

Please can you make these tutorials a priority

Hi Dary,
Generally, tutorials for cartoon animator miss a lot of steps in the creation process.  You might find yourself getting stuck again and again.  It helps to have good problem solving skills.

Have a great week.

Hi,

We have already forwarded this request to our learning team.

As I know, the tutorial about SVG with 360 Head is under production and will release soon.

Appreciate your patience.

If it helps anyone, I am currently writing a tutorial on how to design and rig a G3 actor for Cartoon Animator 5. It is a work in progress that is constantly being updated. One of the chapters I cover is the creation of 360 Heads and the steps I use to do it.
Having worked with CTA for ten years and created hundreds of characters for the Marketplace and Content Store, I have a good idea of what I am doing and I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with others.
I am a Corel Draw user, but maany of the steps (in particular 360 Head setup) will translate easily.
If you would like a FREE copy of my tutorial, please send me a private message via my Cartoon Animator Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/garrypyeanimations
