1. Have created a cloth

2. Added some wind settings
3. Looks ok in IC8 when Play
4. Exports FBX to Unity
5. The FXB in Unity has an Animation, but even when adding a Rig and Animator Controller it doesn't do anything to the Cloth

Is there something I miss to do in IC8 (or Unity)? Can I somehow record the Physics in IC8 to an animation track?

In the Project settings, under Global Physics Settings, did you check Bake Soft Cloth Animation?

Also, when doing a Soft Cloth Physics simulation, it's best to play back By Frame and bake the simulation and then turn Soft Cloth Physics off for the prop.

Hi,An fbx doesn’t really support vertex animation, as far as I know, and I’m pretty sure cloth animation in IC is vertex based. In that case, your best best bet is to try use alembic.Cas

Thanks, animagic, and filippo!
Baking the soft cloth and exporting it with alembic, it is possible to get this into Unity.
