I'm trying to figure out an illusion trick, but I think my brain is just a little too worn out to figure it out at the moment. Ha!!

So I use images for my backgrounds. I got the shadow to point in the direction that suits me, but now it's being blocked by the image.
Is there a way to get the shadow to ignore the image? I want it to look the way it does in the second picture.




I'm also using the Toon Shader if that information helps.
I would really appreciate any help on this.
