Hi,

I'm just starting to learn to use Omniverse, I imported one of my characters from CC3 to Create and I noticed that the eyes are messed up.
Has anyone had this problem before? If so, can it be fixed? 76% of original size (was 666x19) - Click to enlargehttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/db452e25-0e34-4d8b-9547-df06.jpg

Ok, so I discovered what the problem was. It's to do with the materials on the characters eyes. I changed the eye materials from Digital Human to PBR.
And that seems to work. Seems that Omniverse can't support Digital Human materials. I don't know if there is a fix for this but let me know.

This below is quote from the above video
"You can see it in this video too when he zooms closer to the eye at
1:06:46, you see the black part that shouldn't be there."

So perhaps there is something which other
Omniverse Power Users can comment.
Even I am looking for this answer.

This issue seems to be notorious for DHS eyes and ray tracing. It's a problem of eye and cornea mesh being too close to each other.
Now, I do not know anything about Omniverse and how it does render, but in iClone and CC same problem appears to be with Iray.
There are 3 ways to handle it with Iray. I am not sure if there is a way to tweak render engine in Omniverse, but the last method (with displacement map might work if Omniverse supports it).

Otherwise there is a ticket already opened in FT for RL to fix the issue: https://www.reallusion.com/FeedBackTracker/Issue/Circular-Artifacts-on-sclera-of-eyes

So just FYI

Ok, just found out how to fix the black objects on the eyes when importing it to Omniverse. It's actually quite simple.
First, you select the eyes on the character and select 'CC Base Eyes'. Then you'll see an option called 'Shadow Terminator Fix',
just uncheck it and it should work. Here's the link from the Nvidia Forum.
