This is a quick example explainer I made in CreateStudio using their default characters as an example.
The video is composed of:
- A png background created with 3D assets
- mov files of 3D animated props
- move files of a 3D animated character in 3 several different animation loops.
I want to replace the default assets with my own. I have the trial of both the iClone 7 and Character creator trial. I am having a hard time making this scene a reality with my own assets.
- To generate the png background, I can use a program like Vectary to create the 3d assets and background. I can then save the background as png. Would I then import the background into iClone, Character Creator, or directly into CreateStudio?
- To create the 3D props since I don't have 3DExchange, I would have to create them in iClone using props, correct? Is this possible without using a sculpting program?
- How do I create a cartoon character? Then what do I do after I create the cartoon character? Do I animate it in Character Creator first and then import to iClone? Do I directly import into iClone and animate in Character Creator? Since there is no option to download mov files, do I put a green screen behind the character?
Additional questions I have (I can't find official tutorials that answer these questions):
- How do I make props in iClone look cartoony? Everything looks too realistic.
- How do I make the characters look cartoony without purchasing the pack? They look too realistic.
- There is a video on a promo page showing a realistic-looking woman character being turned into a cartoon character. There is also an ad saying this can be done in a few minutes. Is there a tutorial on how to do this?
