This is made in CA4 and iClone with Toonshader.
I used a lot of image layers in both, all made in PS.
+ Subtitles added in Sony Vegas.

Shadows, LUTS & Lighting are always switched off in my "How to Videos"
DOF is only in a few long shots and only subtle, because it's trickier with 2D backgrounds.
Sometimes I just use a Gaussian blur if it starts crashing during rendering.

The voiceover track sucks, sorry. I don't have a good mic at the moment, so I used my phone to record both voices, and I lost a bit of quality there.... sigh.

True Story obviously...

+ both the Toon T-Shirts (on Gran & Gramps) are also available for sale on my website in sizes S to 5XL in almost any colour.
Links below the video.

btw, I can highly recommend merchandising your own toon-clothing designs if you make originals too.
It helps to fatten your wallet quite nicely, even when we can't monetise our youtube videos much any more.

Any suggestions for a good quality affordable mic would be greatly appreciated.

:)
