Have you had any luck since you wrote this post? I'm using CC3, trying to bring custom characters into UE5. My vocabulary isn't up to the level either. Please excuse the limit with my words. ...

... I see that the link at their site says that auto set-up is for UE5, but the paperwork that comes with it, says it's not ready for UE5. When I try to install it, it just doesn't show up.

I have tried out these DeepFake things and once you use them, you quickly start noticing limitations at play in videos online.
First off, you will have very limited output resolution.  Notice in videos presented, they are not HD or full screen.  Or, if they are full screen, they are ballooned up low res iterations.  
Second, you have limited face replacement options - character samples included are all you will have.
Third, it is a post effect, meaning you can't really animate the character in any meaningful way other than a stable face forward position.

Now, if you want to train a face replacement app, this opens up and makes things more possible.  But the computation and rendering time is substantial, and not "out-of-the-box".
So, this Tom Cruise and Keanu Reeves stuff is very very limited.
Now, the tech is really fascinating, but the output resolution becomes the ultimate judge - like Octane Brigade, or UE "Realtime" Raytracing, this DeepFake DeepFake stuff can't give meaningful HD output.

I totally agree with Tony. For now, I stopped to play with DF because of these big resolution limitations . Make a 3D head as good as possible and use mesh to mH is  a better way to have "realistic" video with very good resolution
