I have made a character in CC3 and I want to export it as an FBX in maya. But the eyelashes are turning into a big thick line instead. Does anyone know how to exclude the eyelash mesh from the body. Not only visually I mean like a new mesh, cuz I want to either delete the eyelash mesh or maybe work with it in maya. But how?

I'm having a similar problem when I export to Unity. I merge materials by type but the alpha mask appears to get lost in the generated texture: 76% of original size (was 665x19) - Click to enlargeI have tried all possible values for the "Alpha Clip" - it's not that. Here's the texture: 76% of original size (was 665x19) - Click to enlarge(I added a pink background and then saved it as a JPG). As you can see - the alpha of the eye-lashes has not been output correctly. Any advice would be appreciated! :)

Is there no separate Opacity map when you export? That's where the eyelashes would be specified. Another possibility is that is part of the texture, in which case it should be a 32-bit PNG file, which has the alpha included.

It is indeed a PNG file and my image there shows you the transparency. It seems to have been lost.

I don't have Maya or Unity, but I did a regular FBX export and loaded it in a viewer, and I do have proper eyelashes. So I wonder what's happening.

I will try that and see what happens for comparison.
[EDIT] When you say "regular FBX" what does that mean? The options are: Maya, 3DS Max, Unity 3D, Unreal, Motion Builder, Blender, and Cinema 4D.
