We are pleased to announce the update of Smart Gallery 1.2 with its flexible storage and data access capabilities.
From version 1.2, Smart Gallery allows
everyone assigning multiple storage drives for future installation & content creation, and it also supports moving location for installed content packs. Many features and error-handling mechanisms are added to let users managing assets freely. For
workgroup members, this update makes it possible to easily manage assets from a central server now. For
content developers, you are able to bake up custom content. The complete morph pack creation flow is also available in this version.
Key Features Store Template Content in Multiple DrivesNo need to worry about low storage space when expanding your library, now you can add additional drives to accommodate newly downloaded assets. Just select some content folders and migrate your existing assets to another drive!
Move Assets to a New Computer, or Using Portable DriveUtilize Export and Import Data to easily backup all your custom content and metadata (tags, pack categories, types, descriptions, thumbnails, upload records, etc.), and transfer all purchased assets and creations to a new computer.
Content Sharing for iClone and Character CreatoriClone and Character Creator can share the same content packs without installing duplicate packs from the Marketplace or Content Store. Set both application’s asset folder to a single shared location, and simply double-click on the content packs to install the shared assets within.
Sync Assets from Any Drive and Any FolderSmart Gallery allows you to import installed assets after managing file locations and names. Even if you have moved content around, renamed some files, or restructured some folders, Smart Gallery can still be easily synced by importing from a designated file location.
Directly Saving Custom Content in Smart Gallery Saving custom contents can be done with the Smart Galley after version 1.2, you do not need to use Content Manager to add custom content to the libraries. >>
Online ManualFolder View for Better Browsing Content Packs Some content packs contains several sub-categories to better categorize content with different themes. From this version, Smart Gallery will show folder directory same as where your content stored.
