I'm currently fighting this kind of issue. The problem seems to be that the render from UE4 is "post process" whereas the preview in UE4 is not. This means that what you see in the viewport is not quite what you get on the render. I'm struggling with focus and bloom settings being different between the two and it's taking some trial and error. My tips would be make sure your viewport in UE4 is full screen and in "exact camera view" (there's a toggle box top left).
