Hello, Our project in mid-development was started in UE4 4.25. Upon Epic's release of 4.26, we converted the project to the new version and it's performing, compiling and packaging as expected. While the updated iClone Live-Link works as intended with the update, installing the updated auto-setup plugin causes a compile failure. The critical errors in the output log specifically identifies the RL plugin as the culprit, and I've tested that theory by uninstalling the plugin and compiling error free.
I opened a ticket and was advised by support that the updated plugin will not work for a project started in 4.25 and then updated to 4.26, which is exactly our case here.
As work-around, I intend to create a new character "workshop" 4.26 project, perform the import and auto-setup there, and then migrate the completed characters to our live project. Since the iClone live link seems to working fine, I can then utilize that tool on the migrated characters brought over from the workshop project. I have also read of others having similar compile issues with a previous update from a year or so ago. In that case, the suggested solution was to install the auto-setup plugin into our project, perform the auto-setup process, and then uninstall the plugin before compiling.
Does anyone have insight or advice about either of these approaches, or perhaps a better work-around I should be aware of?
I'm very new to Reallusion and would appreciate any advice. Thanks!
