Hi everyone, Ive imported a jacket from a character and im trying to "Retarget" it to one of my Characters in CC3. I import the FBX as an accesory, transfer skin weights and even portion the arms aswell and still get stretching under the arm pit, its driving me mad. Painting weight manually doesnt reduce the stretching but individually setting vertex Selection values and replacing them with other values DOES work, but thats a lot of verteces to modify the values of 1 by 1. What am i doing wrong? ive followed 3 of Reallusions instructions in the documentation and followed various video tutorials and nothing is working other than manually editing vertex weight values! Thanks, James

From my experience. Shirts are best brought in as a T-Pose form, and then add weights. Applying weights to a shirt that is posed with an A-Pose or similar will cause the issues you are having. You're best bet is to smooth the weights in that area around the bones. If you have ZBrush, send the shirt to ZBrush via goz in the T pose and then smooth the mesh out, and then bring the shirt back in with the T pose and mesh fixed. Then apply skin weights and that should fix the issue.,
