Yes, It is within that range for non-RTX GPUs I got over 25% - from 48 sec to 33 after I have upgraded today: This does not really mean this rate would be true for all projects. It would vary from 0 - 30% (for non-RTX) probably depending on many different factors.

yeah just found Eric's post - and yes you're right, non RTX cards will only just a 20-25% percent increase versus RTX https://forum.reallusion.com/451445/Whats-New-in-Iray-Render-Plugin-v14#bm451446#Test 1

Thanks for testing. So yes, regardless, DAZ is still renders faster (now that them both have RTX support) I have it @ 32sec in DAZ and 48 in iClone - for 2 GPUs though Next, I'll test tomorrow after the upgrade, though non RTX GPUs get very small acceleration.

yes Daz was faster, 36 seconds on 500 iterations, Iclone took 59

OK, so here is I found a simple project for iClone and DAZ. At the time I tried to set them up as close as possible (assets, light, camera). Since DAZ projects do not pack assets as iClone does, copy BLURAY_TEST folder to your C:\ Drive. Or copy anywhere and when DAZ asks for missing assets, just point it to this folder. You have to also match Iray render settings in DAZ and iClone (making them somewhat close). In my past tests DAZ renders slightly faster than iClone for same resolution and passes. I wonder how it is now. https://www.dropbox.com/s/pelyh2926x8czsq/iclone_daz_render_compare.zip?dl=0

oh and I have 1.4 listed on the plugin version. That is what I thought. But if you look at your screenshot, in the log it says 1.14, while mine says 1.3 (I have not upgraded yet).. lol

This is indeed great! To compare DAZ to iClone you have to have identical projects. Let me try to dig. I used to have a simple project almost equally set for DAZ and iClone, which I used to use to compare both...

That's amazing news - yes the RTX support in Octane has been nothing short of inspirational - I've been doing renders out of Daz Studio using Octane and rendering 4k character images in less than 6 minutes - which makes it usable for rendering animation, so been holding out for the Iray update in Iclone so that I can produce work natively, otherwise it was going to have to be a pipeline out of the software. Ironically I was rendering my 4k test and the auto-update on the drivers occurred so it shut down the render, so I'll have to do some more tests later - trying to get work finished for the day so I can dive into it. This is more than 2x quicker, it might be subjective but Iray has always been clunky. This now feels functional. Below is a still that was rendered out of Octane in six minutes, will be curious to see if what time it takes in Iclone (this was from Daz).

Here is my result. Same 2K, 1000 iterations - 413 seconds Now. I have dual 1080TI. Meaning with single, it would render above 800 seconds. Given the fact that RTX 2060 Super is rated 201 against GTX 1080TI 216 according to Otoy Bench (almost same rating), a single RTX 2060 Super renders more than twice as fast as single GTX 1080TI This is indeed great news for RTX GPU owners! Now, I trust that you feel it renders faster now. Do you feel it renders twice as fast as before? It would be interesting to hear people with RTX GPUs, who clocked Iray renders before and after upgrade. I noticed some discrepancy on RL part. New Iray version is 1.14 against old being 1.3. So it's supposed to be 1.4 - not 1.14. Isn't it??
