Rosuckmedia from German Forum asked to post this https://forum.reallusion.com/440796/Iclone-7-Tur-auf-und-T%C3%BCr-zu- here in english...
Hello everyone, Does anyone know a solution for this? I have set keyframes for door open and door closed, door open at a 45 degree angle then added to "perform" via collect clip. Door open works perfectly, but when the door is closed, the door always goes the oppsite way, even though the last keyframe for Z axis rotation is at zero In Iclone 6 this worked wonderfully, but not in Iclone 7. I tried everything in Iclone 7 but found no solution... Greetings Robert

I do not think consecutive perform actions has ever worked (tried in IC6 - does not work). Suppose it only records a delta value (rotate Z 60 degrees for instance). But it starts from the initial angle value which is 0 in this case. Unless there is some trick to make it working, workaround is to record whole action Open/Close. Then, when you run it from Perform, break the clip in half and have second (Close) clip where you want it.

@toystorylab Thank you for posting this to me. @4u2ges Thank you for the answer, I was of the opinion that it worked in Iclone 6, sorry I was wrong, Will try this with clip Break, thanks again. With best regards rosuckmedia:)

Hallo In Iclone 6 there was the possibility to open and close the door at a 45 degree angle with the help of a door dummy. The idea does not come from me but from Cyberopa, I would not have thought of it. However, this variant no longer works in Iclone 7. I made a little tutorial. Greetings Robert

Hey Robert, Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. I think the problem with iClone7 is, that it does not save animation while Props are merged. Not sure if RL did it on purpose or it is just a bug. I however used a native iClone7 tool - morphs to record open/close perform action:

Yes props attached to a parent seem to have weird behavior. I found it works better to remove a prop from the parent, but some of the transforms change when added back to a parent, so Python is probably the right way to do some of this instead of Perform menu. I have never used Morphs, thanks for the video. I will make this my 'What I learned this weekend'. P.S. I am going to buy you a microphone and / or a narrator for Christmas so you can explain what you are doing in your videos. 77% of original size (was 655x19) - Click to enlarge
