I am using i clone7 to create animations for my cc3 characters to be used in unreal engine 4. My plan is to create the Blueprints for the character movements on these characters and to sell them on ue4 market place. but id like to sell this programming with the animations " I Create" none of my motions would be purchased. i am using The Curve Editor and to Key Frame my animations. so the question is do i have to sell what i create in iclone on reallusion content store?

I could be wrong here so let's hope someone else chimes in.

Hi... As Dorothy has already explained, content created in iClone and Character Creator can normally only be sold in our own stores. If you have any questions you can contact developer[at]reallusion.com for clarification.

Hi Peter,
please clearify:
Is it technically not possible to export my product or not allowed by Reallusion restrictions?
Can you tell us where we can read about this restrictions?
Thx Reinhard

Hi Reinhard You can certainly export content for non-commercial use in other 3D software and you can also incorporate Reallusion characters and content in games which can be sold. What you can't do is sell the content (characters, props, motions etc.) directly in 3rd party stores. This type of content can only be sold in the Reallusion Marketplace or Content Store. Please see the limitations section of the EULA for more on this. https://www.reallusion.com/Reallusion_Content_EULA.pdf

Or does this apply to EVERYONE across the board?

It applies to everyone. The only exception would be if you had a written agreement in place before the creation of the Marketplace and the new EULA.

If I have come across a 3rd party website that has content for sale, who do I reach out to make sure it's not going against the EULA? I rather not post it here for all to see.

Hi... You can send me a private message if you think someone is in breach of the EULA and we'll look into it. Thanks.

question about use of content in a game - if I'm looking to create clothing that might be available for purchase (skins in a game ala fortnight for example) - does this count as a 3rd party marketplace? The user isn't getting any of the source assets, all of the content is packed in the game and not exportable to other applications? The content license is a bit vague in this sense.
