Hi Everyone,
I was refreshing my memory with Rellusion rigging videos when I noticed the imagine transform setting box has been removed in cartoon animator 4.  This feature is very import part of the software because you don't have to spend time scaling imagines when replacing sprites.  The video is obsolete if this setting has been removed from the software.  This feature of the software save a lot of time. Please comment if you have information.

Hey! I had this issue when I upgraded the other day and I figured out a solution:

In the composer screen, go to "Layer Manager" in the bottom right, then click on the bone you want to add a sprite to, then click on the "+" sign.
If you add a sprite this way, the dialogue box for keeping the transform should come up. If you double click on a bone and add a sprite that way, the dialogue box doesn't appear; I have no idea why they removed it.

Hi, Unrightous,

I tried it but the issue is still there. Doesn't transform it properly,  I will most likely do a YouTube video about it.  I have designed a lot of characters but It takes too much time to rig them. scaling and rotating takes too much time.

Thanks for commenting.

This feature is still available in Cartoon Animator 4 and works fine for me. What problems are you having?

Hi..

Thanks for sharing the video.

The problem is you are not following the tutorial and are using an existing character instead of the the dummy template.

What you need to do is first prepare your images ready for character creation. This means having the full character as your reference image and then that same character broken down into all the individual parts (see the image below).

Then importantly, you need to first load one of the two front or side dummy templates (for example Human_Dummy_F) and then use the Sprite Editor to replace the Hip sprite with your own character reference image and position it as explained in the tutorial.

At this point you can now use "Layer Manager" to begin adding the parts and you will find that the Image Transform Settings > Keep Parent Transform option will work as described.

The important point is that you should follow the tutorial carefully at least until you fully grasp the process. If you just do your own thing then you will get unexpected results.
