I second Kelleytoons, the free 'Spring Joints' plug-in might be able to help here. Of course i find this very interesting too, and will try it if i can find some time :)

Actually, I think the best/easiest way to do this now is use the free bone plugin-in thingee RL released a week or two ago. It looks like it would work perfectly (you just need to figure out the rig). One of these days I may get around to trying it out, but once *someone* has figured it out we ought to be able to share it. It should make it easy to just throw around any iClone character and have it behave properly (more or less).

Dragonskunk (10/31/2019) This is just thinking about this, as I would find it useful as well.
You would have to make a boneless version of that character, turn it into a prop. Make certain parts of the body more rigid to keep its volume. eg: More loose with the elbows but more rigid with the length of the arms. Add obstacles, turn on physics and watch em fly?
Hi, Has anyone done this ,could I remove the bones in iclone/3dxchange or would it have to be another program?

I will keep working on this I think I can make it happen with some fancy bone editing in Blender.

Thanks for the replies, some interesting ideas there. I think my best solution as mentioned would be to use unity ragdoll on top of normal animations made in Iclone. I mainly use Iclone for Cutscene animations and Voice over/lip syncing the characters, so I need to improve in animation making quite a bit and then I would maybe be able to make decent falling animations in key frame within Iclone.

When I try to click the link, it goes to an empty Marketplace page. Now that I see it better, I cannot access the marketplace at all. No matter what I press, I always end up in this page. Weird..!!

There are no free options for ragdoll animations in iclone except perhaps warlords ragdolls from the iclone version 5 days. You could buy this plug-in for Unity and the bvh export plug-in if you needed frequent ragdoll enough to justify the costs.
