Hi all, I'm pretty new to using Iclone but I have a game character the I want to apply ragdoll effects for an animation where he is thrown across the room as part of a cutscene in engine (unity). Ive followed some youtube clips but there are for iclone 5 and not sure if they are the same or if iclone 7 as a different method (the different menus make it tricky too). Any advice or tips would be appreciated. Andy

This is just thinking about this, as I would find it useful as well. You would have to make a boneless version of that character, turn it into a prop. Make certain parts of the body more rigid to keep its volume. eg: More loose with the elbows but more rigid with the length of the arms. Add obstacles, turn on physics and watch em fly?

Interesting. But how would you make some body parts more rigid and some more loose? Can you achieve that using IC Physics engine?

I'm gonna bet a dollar the poster used Endorphin to do that. It's a program that's no longer for sale.

on topic: since your going to use unity you could use the ragdoll wizard, you can still put together the main animation in iclone

There are no free options for ragdoll animations in iclone except perhaps warlords ragdolls from the iclone version 5 days. You could buy this plug-in for Unity and the bvh export plug-in if you needed frequent ragdoll enough to justify the costs.

When I try to click the link, it goes to an empty Marketplace page. Now that I see it better, I cannot access the marketplace at all. No matter what I press, I always end up in this page. Weird..!!
