Since 7.61 iClone crashes after having a project open and loading another project...
iClone loads new project, keeps a while at 100% and then crashes :pinch:

When i close iClone and re-open everything works fine...
No drama but annoying

Anyone else have this behaviour??

Studio Driver 431.86

EDIT
AND strange behaviour with saving, have to click up to 4 times "save" untill IC really saves the project...:doze:

Since the latest update I have been unable to render at all. I even tried changing to the recommended nvidia studio driver 436.86  for my 1080Ti, but every render has crashed, including old projects that previously rendered ok. Also the look at function still stuffs up the eyes. Hope RL can get on top of these issues asap as I'm now way behind schedule.
Cheers,
Tony

I am pretty frustrated. I was running 7.4 with no issues. For some reason I decided to upgrade to 7.61. I can no longer render a video without artifacts all over the place. See the attached pictures. I am currently using the NVidia Studio Driver 431.86 as recommended on a 1080 GTX. I have spent hours this weekend trying to fix the problem with no luch. Has anyone else had this same issue and if so do you have any thoughts?

Is this artifacts problem affecting all renders or just those from this one particular project?

I'm using a GTX 1080 and can't reproduce the problem in my renders from iClone 7.61. (The drivers I'm using are the 431.60 game ready drivers)

Some of the latest Nvidia drivers were said to have addressed security issues, so I would caution against going back to previous versions if you can avoid doing so. In lieu of regressing, I opted to switch from game-ready to studio drivers, and that worked for me.

It looks like a selected collision shape on a character is no longer highlighted correctly.

It used to be that a selected collision shape was highlighted in red and then when you selected another one, that one would be highlighted in red.

That is no longer the case. The originally selected one remains highlighted. This makes it impossible to make adjustments. How can existing functionality suddenly be broken?

EDIT: Entered as FT #6238.

Thanks Ani for putting this in the FY, I was having the same problem and thought it was just me!

here's a screen cap of what I saw available for the 1070  - which is strange actually,  because the geoforce interface gave me an older driver ....and when I searched on the site,  it had a newer driver...but now that I look...both are for august .  Nvidia is more confusing than I thought lol.    I only thought it was issued yesterday,  because I was offered a new driver on the site,  than the Geoforce app.   I think i'm done with updating my video card -  I haven't had a good update experience with nvidia in several years and have had to roll back every update they've issued through their app.

I have a 1070 and when I searched for older drivers,  the newest driver available to me before the 436.x series was 431.06
So it's possible you have a newer driver meant for your particular card.

Oh....I see!
With the 1070 you never were even able to try out the 431.86, which was released on 9/4/19.
So when you said on 9/6/2019 that NVidia issued an update "today" that "didn't work either", you were referring to the fact that the 9/4/19 431.86-driver wasn't a usable driver for the 1070 card, specifically.

Okay, I was wondering more generally in the case of newer cards if the 431.70 would be the latest available working driver with RL products, or if the 9/4/19 now-newer 431.86 would be latest available.

THX!
