Hmm, well that seems indeed to be the case. If I move the camera I get an update. Still, it's not really desirable behavior.

Honestly, the reduced thingee to me is next to worthless.  For one thing, it does NOT make things better for me in the viewport (for my scenes that need that I really need to turn on Quick Mode in view).  And it just breaks a whole lot of stuff (breaks WYSIWYG).

I turned it off and I'm much happier.  This was a clear case of fixing something that wasn't broken.

Oh, I have this problem too but I thought it was a problem with my configuration. Is it a really recent bug ? I would have sweared having this bug since a while.

windows 7,  -  iclone and cc3 don't start anymore,  tried multiple re-installs ...same error -  windows asks me to debug.   tried re-installing from download site and the hub...same error. tried cleaning registry for clean install,  same issue.

any chance of going back to an older version ?

update -  after some research,  and finding the new nvidia thread bug on the forum,  rolling back fixed it.

Nvidia also issued a new update today -  don't bother,  it doesn't work either....the last version to work was 431.06

PSD - are you referring to the 431.86 driver, which is the latest chronologically (September 4, 2019), although not the 'furthest' update...That didn't work, you mean?
If so that would me an the latest driver that works is 431.70

I have a 1070 and when I searched for older drivers,  the newest driver available to me before the 436.x series was 431.06 
So it's possible you have a newer driver meant for your particular card.

With the 1070 you never were even able to try out the 431.86, which was released on 9/4/19.
So when you said on 9/6/2019 that NVidia issued an update "today" that "didn't work either", you were referring to the fact that the 9/4/19 431.86-driver wasn't a usable driver for the 1070 card, specifically.

Okay, I was wondering more generally in the case of newer cards if the 431.70 would be the latest available working driver with RL products, or if the 9/4/19 now-newer 431.86 would be latest available.

here's a screen cap of what I saw available for the 1070  - which is strange actually,  because the geoforce interface gave me an older driver ....and when I searched on the site,  it had a newer driver...but now that I look...both are for august .  Nvidia is more confusing than I thought lol.    I only thought it was issued yesterday,  because I was offered a new driver on the site,  than the Geoforce app.   I think i'm done with updating my video card -  I haven't had a good update experience with nvidia in several years and have had to roll back every update they've issued through their app.
