Daz has often multilayer hair , try to tweak your bangs with the "Opacity Multiplayer".

mayunakoki (7/12/2020) Thank you for a quick reply!!! I want to say thank you for your hard efforts to try to help us who has problem with iclone and cc3. I watched your all YouTube video and it is awesome!!! I am also learning how to make hair with xgen in Maya because I want high quality hair. My concern is my graphic card is NVIDIA 770. I don’t have afford to buy better graphic card now. I hope it won’t crash while I put groom. I have question. Can I add groom to daz hair in UE4?If you want to work with groom you need GPU Memory as more you have as better it works, I have a RTX 2080ti with 11gb and sometimes I can't render Groom Hair in 4k , Unreal gives me a warning not enough GPU space and crashes. Of course it depends on how much "Hair Strands" you are using and also the hair length makes a differents. Groom Physic works with particles , it puts on every guide hair 8 or 16 particles (you can choose) and mostly I have about 6000-8000 hair guides and 60000 hair strands , now Niagara Physics ( thats how the physics engine is called) has to calculate 8 or 16 * 6000/8000 , that does cost Gpu space and Gpu Power :-) Yes you can mix normal or daz hair with Groom , I often use a hair cap from daz and groom as hair. :-)

I tried to untuck cast shadow under material and tick Recompute following your guide, but it is grey out so I can’t tick recompute. How can I tick Recompute ? Also, I try to switch your hair from "RL Hair shader" to "RL Eyelashes". Where can I find RL Hair shader? I am sorry I am beginner. Can you capture picture of RL Hair shader ?

no , till it looks ok for you If you can't untick "cast shadows" you are not working with "Raytracing" :-) so you don't need any of these buttons to tick. Double click the hair bangs....scroll down till you see RL Hair or RL Standart , make it selectable and switch to RL Eyelashes , which RL shader are you using for your hair (RL Standart or RL Hair)? This is Daz Hair with the Eyelashes Shader :

nealtucker (7/12/2020) Great info here for working with Iclone and Unreal, this would be very difficult without the generous help offered here. Can anyone help with this? it may be a simple setting but I can not find it. I'm working in Unreal sequencer and bring in a root motion, like, a root walk where the character walks 4 paces from the start position but when I add it again from the end of the first motion (like in Iclone) the motion jumps back to the original start position which does not happen in Iclone as you can append each motion to move forward from the last location. Can this be done in Unreal and if so how? Thanks for any help with this. NealDid you find the solution?

Still can't get that hair right... The red light in the scene behaves strange on her scalp
Whats the name of that hair? From Daz , right? Which Hair Shader are you using ? RL Hair or RL Standart ?

@Bassline I'm @Home now, no PC... So, can't say what shader. Hair is Daz but can't name it now. Be back tomorrow! Thanx! ;)
