Finally I managed to render a little scene with sequencer...



Many thanx to all who shared help on Unreal topics, esp. Rosuckmedia and Bassline303.
I still have questions :D
Esp. in this case where I used the "Zen Garden".
Somehow there is a "blackscreen" effect built into the project.
I have no idea how to get rid of it...
Any ideas?
Further I still have jitter esp. when camera moves from the side to my character.
I think it is the camera what jitters not the character (in Iclone i had 60 fps)...
How can I improve this?

Looks like you have a fade track in your Sequencer , need to see a picture of your Sequencer.
Jittering : Try to work with the naked Character in IC (after all Characters are transferred to UE4) , delete all except the naked Character (Hair , Cloth, Suit ...in IC, but do a Save before) When you use the sequence recorder also mute the Environment in UE while recording , as less you have as better the fps.
You also have to go to Minimal Mode in IC and set the Character to "bounding or wireframe" instead of "Normal".
After recording you can unmute ...Live-Link recording is very expensive for the GPU , maybe you also can try to record in unlit or wireframe mode to help the GPU.


P.s.  Do you have "Fixed Frames " ticked in your Project Settings ?

So called "Matinee" thingies, whatever that is, caused the "Blackscreen".
I deleted them all except for the "Emitter-Matinees" (Insects, petals, ...)...

Matinee is the predecessor of "Sequencer" and not used anymore. (till 4.24 it was still a part of UE4)
The ZenGarden Map is from 2016 and has Matinee Content inside.

I did not manage to create the side camera without trembling, I did everything as you described it,
Even if I create my own side camera in Unreal,
and adding them to the recorder sequence doesn't work either.
Then I also have tremors
Can you try something else?
That is a big problem with the Live Link:D
