There are awesome new features on marvellous designer 8. You can watch on the video. But they don't work well with t-poise from character creator obj. I was wondering if there is a way to get this character female base from character creator 3 on a pose. So that way I can use arrangement points etc and make more efficient the marvellous designer 8 workflow. Thanks!! You can watch video with this new features about marvellous designer 8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5q-2qpTLAmQ

Do you have the latest version of CC3 Pipeline? Check the File menu. :) 76% of original size (was 664x19) - Click to enlarge

Thank you so much, Rampa. I just discovered this. And to bring back I think I need 3d exchange. Otherwise, I cannot bring this back. Marvellous designer 8 looks really awesome. Looking forward to creating many assets. Thanks!! I found many of the tutorials online are not really updated with all these new versions and non-sense to slow down the process that can be made faster. Thanks!!

You don't need 3DXchange to import MD clothing into CC3 Pipeline. You just import the OBJ files of the clothing and use the auto-rigger.
Note that the UI used to import is now "Accessory"

I realized recently that this totally defeats the purpose of buying/selling anything *Export* on Marketplace and Content store. With a few steps any cloth/hair/prop can be made exportable.

I think not. The market place has very customized things and when you buy. you can get more quality things that the free ones, which they have a clean topology and they are low poly for video games etc. The things are usually not the best assets..

Of course you have to buy. But I was referring to the Export version specifically.

No, what he's saying is you can take the things you buy (the "non-Export" versions) export as OBJ via the pose option, and then reimport as clothing (which then can be exported freely via FBX). I tried it and it works (although I had to use Blender in-between -- if there's another way I don't see it). And I suspect it's a loophole RL will have to close (so folks had better keep this version of CC3 just in case <g>). In my own case it's pretty harmless in that all I ever do I want to do in iClone EXCEPT when I use Anima it's nice to use iClone characters and clothing, and this would allow that without purchasing the Export options (kind of a "ultimately I'll still use in iClone but in the meantime I'm stopping off at Anima).
