And the existing resources are literally non-existent.
But i basically like the idea.

Unfortunately, TTS itself hasn't reached the state to call it very useful yet.
This will hopefully change sooner or later, if you think about all the AI inventions!

Actually i don't know why nobody brought out that universal, AI assisted, naturally-human-sounding-speech-engine yet.
It would be a gold mine.

But - i have another idea.
Why not build a platform for sharing real speech?
Imagine that.

Not sure what you mean by "the existing resources are literally non-existent" but the TTS on Demand service is still fully operational and offers 47 voices in 22 languages. That's a pretty big selection.

Sorry, i have to revise my statement.
I didn't want to say that TTS on demand service from RL is dead.

What i really want to know is why the RL voice pack(s) are no longer available.

I would rather have more voices available directly in iClone.

From about 15 free voices that i downloaded somewhere else, only 2 appear in iClone even though they work with tools like Babolka.
Can you please tell me if the Neospeech engine compatible with iClone? That would be an option then.

Ok, after a bit research i finally come to this conclusion:

- iClone can use only 64 Bit voices (why don't they write a wrapper)
- NeoSpeech is only available for corporates
- RL is offering their service, which is good.
But i would rather like to use TTS directly inside iClone AND those voices.

The problem with voice packs is that they have very strict licensing terms that prevent the voices being used for commercial purposes (sometimes even for personal videos on YouTube etc).

Our TTS on Demand service avoids these licensing issues by making the voices royalty-free when used in iClone, Crazytalk Animator or Crazytalk videos. Plus as you already mentioned, there are often compatibility issues with voice packs, but as the TTS on Demand service doesn't install anything you again won't run into these issues.

The date for the complete closure of this service has not yet been finalised.

At this time we are not accepting any new purchases but existing minutes can still be used up. It probably would be wise to use them as soon as possible though.
