Hi Guys

I am wondering? Most Text To Speech software programs seem to have control of the installed voices. Meaning that other programs can not use them because they are purchased and installed thru them. Is this true? Once MS voices are purchased and installed in our computer why isn't it working for all TTS programs?

In iclone 6 pro, I now have one voice, MS Anna. When I first installed IC 5 Pro, it used all of my installed MS voices in win 8 pro. NOW, only Anna in win 7hp. WHY?

Can iclone detect installed voices in win 7hp?

How can I add MS voices (already installed for other TTS programs) to iclone 6?

Currently I have 3 voice packs installed in my computer. iClone uses 1. doh!

Any ideas? Tips? Suggestions? I am lost on this one. whew.

Win 7 hp 64 bit system

iClone 6 is now a 64bit only product so you may find that many older text to speech voices won't show up. The same applied to the 64bit version of iClone 5 where some voices were only available in the 32bit version.

You might like to consider using our TTS On Demand service. This bypasses the issue of having the voices installed as the service works entirely online. Please see below for more information.

Hi Peter

Yes it seems so...mission impossible. So, the TTS online, I have credit on that already,,,I had a serious look and it would cost too much for what I am doing. A full length movie with lotsa voices. I am using Morphvox Pro but must load each wav into audacity to clean it up....a pain in da xxx. I guess I am stuck doing it the hard way.

Thanks for your time and effort.

Amazing how this forces a user into having to use "TTS On Demand Service!" Spent a lot of money upgrading to iClone 6 only to find it was really a downgrade. I am very disappointed with this situation. Pardon me if it sounds contrived to me. I have  a "TTS On Demand Service" subscription but the voices are Microsoft. If I am going to spend money for voices there are many, many other TTS services I can spend money on which are of higher quality than iClone's "TTS On Demand Service." I have characters I am going to have to change the sound of the voice to now I have gone to iClone 6. Again, I am not happy with that situation. You sell everything else... why don't you sell voice packs?
