Thank you for the .FBX information and the export clothing only information. Between this and the CtrlF info I think I'm all set now.

In CC the height of your character is part of its info that you can bring up with Ctrl+F. Basic units in CC and iClone are centimeters. OBJ files do not have a built-in scale, I believe, so that should be specified during import in the other application.

So I've been playing with it some more. It seems if I export an .obj from CC3 and then open it with 3DX and then export it again as a .obj then I keep the skin textures and eyes, etc. Then importing into Marvelous Designer as the DAZ scale in cm seems to size the character correctly. I'll see how it goes the other way after I make some clothes.
But still, if anyone knows anything about this process or can add info or direct me some where on the web for info then I'd be in your debt.
Thanks.

Hi all, I'm fairly new to all the 3D software but I'm getting by - mostly. I've searched forums and the internet but can't seem to figure out how to find the "real world" scale of a CC3 character. Is there a way to do that? Also, I exported a character that I created in CC3 and ZBrush as an .obj and then imported it into Marvelous Designer so I could do some custom dressing. (I tried a direct export and then tried to export and then import into 3DX and then back out...3DX is an entire other confusion in itself.)
I'm finding the at the CC3 character is importing into Marvelous Designer as an 250mm or about 8" figure. Is that right? I can upscale the import in MD and then I suppose downscale back into CC3 and then into iClone but is that the workflow or am I missing something crucial? I'm trying to get back to the art and stop getting mired in the tech stuff but this is something that I need to know so I don't waste a bunch of time and effort.
Any help is appreciated.
