I've been trying this now for the longest time, but the animation ends up  that only the hands are turning around lol
I watched this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7LPnllB4Rg

and create the file, and import it in iClone 3DXchange v7.4 Pipeline
but when I play the animation,   it's just messed up.

What am I doing wrong, or did something change?

Hi
I did not watch that person's 33 minute video
However the process is best explained by the official Reallusion Videos on the matter

Thank you.
I skipped most of the annoying talk from that guy.
But the normal stuff all works.   it's the Animation  that doesn't seem to transfer properly.  (Ani Blocks baked to the timeline, and export the animation)

What version of DAZ are you using? I know in the past there were FBX export problems, but the latest version should work. I don't use DAZ that often, but someone must be able to assist you.

I am using 4.10

The version in the video os V4.11 public.  (beta)
so I'm wondering if that's the problem then.

Hi  If indeed you want to use baked aniblocks exported from Daz studio,
IMHO is best to export the BVH files from Daz studio alone and import them into 3DX.

The  DAZ skeletal structure will be auto recognized  for retargeting
and you can  add them to perform as save as proper Imotion files.
Those Imotion files can be used on the imported Daz figure ,or any other avatar, In Iclone
with much better reliability than the animation Data in an FBX exported from Daz  studio.
Here is a really Old Reallusion tutorial that details this method of converting Daz studio
Aniblock /animation  to Imotion Via BVH export from Daz studio

It is still relevant as I  recently used the exact method to convert BVH from Endorphin to Imotion

Thanks for the tip on exporting aniblock. I am now halfway there. I was able to use the breastjig in Daz3d and export to FBX to Lightwave and all the animation was succesfully transfer, but that same FBX file was not able to bring the breastjig animation be imported to Iclone. Only the aniblock made it there. I have the Iclone 7 and 3dexchange pipeline. I used FBX2011 format. I was able to bring everything to Lightwave, but it would be nice to bring everything to Iclone to take advantage of their renderer, and FX, and hair and cloth simulation.

Hi,
It is not surprising that you are getting a better result
with Daz FBX exports to Lightwave as Lightwave has a much better native FBX importer than the Iclone 32 bit 3DXchange tool,
Lightwave's FBX importer supports the Daz animated facial and bodymorphs so even talking figure from Daz transfers with no manual face setup  as required  with 3DX
I am currently migrating from Maxon C4D  to Lightwave, as my final render environment, (for alot of reasons ),
But primarily because of Lightwave's superior Veiwport display (VPR) for  accurate look dev in scene building,  feature film  quality particle effects/volumetrics and better native support for .obj/MDD driven animation than C4D as C4D  only supports MDD via a third party plugin  no longer in development.
If you plan to render in Iclone your best method to get usable Daz figures imported is the CC3 Transformer tool  that projects the shape of the daz figure into a proper Iclone Avatar.
However unlike Lightwave's FBX, you will not retain any Daz Studio generated animated mesh morphs such as lipsynch or "body jiggles".
