I want to use a facing and a side image of a face to recreate it in CC. I only played around with it once so I'm quite a novice on how to use the software. All I can find is CT8 tutorials but nothing for CC. Where I can learn how to do that?

Hi Dragonskunk ... I get the impression that the 'current' way of taking a photo-image and translating it to an avatar head is by using CrazyTalk 8 Pipeline. This *may* have been possible in other ways in the past. You can use iClone 7 for G3 to G5 characters, but not for G6 and not for CC-Avatars. Try checking this: https://forum.reallusion.com/357333/Creating-a-face-and-where-is-the-manual-Iclone-7

Please be patient with me ..... I don't always 'get it' the first time 'round - not even the 2nd time! - yikes! ... ● MSI GT72VR Laptop, i7 7700HQ 4-Core 3.8 GHz 16GB RAM; Nvidia 1070, 8GB Vram ● iClone-7.93 ● 3DXChange Pipeline 7.81 ● CC-3 Pipeline 3.44 ● Live Face ● HeadShot ● Brekel Pro-Body ● Popcorn FX ● iRAY ● Kinect V2 ● DaVinci Resolve17 ● Mixcraft 8.1

CC is an App for creating 3D characters, according to the Reallusion logic 3D characters do not have heads - unless you purchase then directly from RL. If you wish to create a head to use in this 3D character creation software then you will first have to purchase a 2D software package, conveniently marketed by the same RL who do not provide this feature in their 3D software. For that reason there are no tutorials available for creating 3D heads in CC.

I don't want to translate it into an avatar, I just want to use reference images placed on its side and front to edit an existing 3D character to look like the image. I've seen it before, other user on this forum have created look alikes characters for iClone using CC.

There was one user that demonstrated how to create a head using an image overlay program in CC, but I can't remember the name or where to find the video.

This is what I don't want. I don't want to edit textures, I don't want to use external software to edit the geometry. I'm speaking strictly about shaping the face in CC, the chin is this long the eye are this far apart, etc. based on photos I can overlay in CC. I just want to know how to overlay images in CC. Nothing else.
