Greetings ....
I'm still working on creating a successful 'Climbing Motion' - built from the ground up.
So far:

* A great tutorial from Rampa outlines the approach link: https://youtu.be/WtH71Slifok
* I decided that the 'Curve Editor would be useful - so purchased and installed that today.
* The video below, is the start of an 80 frame climb cycle - the 'left foot rises first, coming to rest one rung higher at the 1/2 way point (frame 40).
* But - it's what follows AFTER frame 40 - that's puzzling me. I can't understand what happens with the left foot 'Reach Dummy' - I used the Dummy to successfully animate the leg around behind the rung as it rises from the starting rung. But then I'm wanting it to 'lock' to the rung. It just won't - instead it just rises up, leaving the Dummy behind. I'm sure it's operator error - but I've tried so many things - Try as I might, there's part of this 'concept' i'm just not understanding ... Can anyone see where I'm going wrong? Thanks :)

Please be patient with me ..... I don't always 'get it' the first time 'round - not even the 2nd time! :(  - yikes! ...
