The PopcornFX plugin allows you to make changes to a particle inside iClone, this is not the same as the PopcornFX software. To make changes to a .pkfx file simply Drag and Drop the file in to iClone and you can make changes there using the Modify Panel - this requires that the Reallusion PopcornFX plugin is installed on your system. After making changes you can save the effect as a custom .iPkfx file. The amount of parameters that you can adjust is restricted to the number and type present in the imported .pkfx file.

On Library page https://www.reallusion.com/ContentStore/iClone/pack/Particle_Effects-popcornFX_Library40/is a paragraph: If you want to tweak existing particle behaviors, import images, sprite textures, 3D meshes and sounds you can sample a static, skinned, or blendshaped mesh for the emitter shape, please acquire the PopcornFX Plug-in for iClone.

The Reallusion iPkfx files can not be edited with the PopcornFX software.

Hi, I want to tweak PopcornFX library 40 presets with plugin, for example, I want to make fur particle strands less "movable"... I must import pkfx format, but the presets in library are in iPkfx format. BR. Zvonimir
