Hello everyone, as you all know, im working on a complete training series for iclone 4. The next class will be animation, and it will happen on February 13th 2010. I am taking my time on this because there is so much to cover in Iclone, but I also want to make sure that I cover areas where people are getting stuck at. So where are you getting stuckon when it comes to animation? :P cheers, Stuckon3d PS: the more feedback you give me, the better the class will be.

Although I noticed an improvement in IC4, I still have problems with feet not staying in place when they should when combining motions, or even during the duration of a clip. I usually try to compensate for that by using the Transform track, but it's not very elegant. Test01 was trying to make a squat from a standing position and had to do the whole thing in reverse to make it work. Another thing I would like to know more about is an effective use of the AML editor. And then there is of course the enigma of the proper use of transition curves. Mmm, I will have to sign up now, don't I?

I'd like to know if there are ways to ensure that accessories track body motions. I rely upon shims to patch structural weakness in the iClone avatars, and it's critical that these stay in place. Do we have an estimated time of arrival for a set of training DVDs? That might appeal to some of us who haven't tuned into the online classes. I'M interested!

Hello guys/gals, I want to thank everyone for the wonderful feedback, and I'll try to incorporate some of these issues in the lessons, and show how to trouble shoot it. Please keep them coming. I' m sure reallusion is reading this thread. ;)

Here's one: I am ignorant about using Absolute / Relative animation. I know what absolute and relative means, but I don't know how to really use it, and when. This would be a biggie.
