Hello everyone!

First sorry for my poor English.

I tried a lot, but have not found the answer to my question.
How do I create a character from scratch?
I would like a complete mapping, I still do not quite understand the format
files, and what programs I have to use.

What softwere creates the "VNS"? And "IAvatar"?

I would like to create characters complete with motion (bones), but so far only managed to make VNS static, with the following path:
Poser -> "Obj" -> 3DXchange ->"VNS" ->iClone

It was very horrible! Without moviment :(

Many thanks, and sorry again!

Hi,

Currently to create completely new standard avatars for iClone requires 3DS Max and the max plugin. The plugin is free and you can also download the max avatar templates which contains the RL Bone system used in the iClone avatars.

You can find out much more by heading over to the Developer Center.

The main restriction when trying to download the templates is that you have to be first a Certified Artist for G2/G3 Texture.

....and you can also download the max avatar templates which contains the RL Bone system used in the iClone avatars.

G2 & G3 Character Max Template (source data)
The source max files and texture images of the G2/G3 character (essential male & female) in iClone assets, for further modification and creation. Anyone certified for publishing G2/G3 textures are entitled to get the G2/G3 Character Max templates and the white paper. You can apply for these powerful tools for your creation after your certified G2/G3 texture submission.

Sort of like the chicken and egg story.
