Hey, I'm figuring out how to edit accessories and textures in PhotoShop, but one area has me stumped: how to add a logo to the crown of a ball cap or helmet?

When I export the helmet, for example, I get the image below. In order to add a logo, I'd need to, apparently, split it down the middle, then somehow place one half on one side of the helmet, and one on the another, somehow guess at the appropriate angles, then HOPING they are aligned when the helmet is once again rendered in 3D, but not knowing if they are actually aligned until I import them back into CT8. 

Is there an easier way to do this?
