Thank you very much Peter! I was not aware that you could do this. Very cool.

j-wag (2/9/2018) Sorry for the newbie question, but in CTA3 how do you mask out part of a motion? Let's say it's a preset standing motion but I want the character to perform it seated. When you apply a preset motion clip you can't choose which body parts are affected by the motion. However you can remove body parts after the motion clip has been applied. Please see below for how to remove body parts from the animation. http://manual.reallusion.com/CrazyTalk_Animator_3/ENU/Pipeline/#Resources/CTA3/09_Timeline/Removing_Motions_of_Body_Parts.htm

Sorry, you did clearly state CTA in your post... it came up for some reason as I was browsing through some Iclone stuff and I didn't read it closely enough.

Check out the Motion Puppet tool. This is an old tutorial for Iclone 5 but it still works pretty much the same way in Iclone 7. It gives you a way to combine different motions by masking out body parts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUqB_HRQd7k
