Has there been any word on the curve editor? It's essential to my use of Iclone and have been trying to consider that very carefully when deciding what version to buy. Lately I've noticed that shop pages for Iclone and 3dXchange no longer make any mention of the curve editor. https://www.reallusion.com/store/product.html?l=1https://www.reallusion.com/iclone/pipeline.htmlI'm wondering if it's no longer the plan to include it with the pipeline version of 3dXchange. Either way it would be good to know as funds are limited and I need to know I'm not blowing budget on the wrong things.

RL has stated clearly it will come free with XChange Pipeline, or available separately for $150. I've never yet seen them change when they officially announce something (they *might* lower prices, but they rarely if ever completely change from an announced position). I'd have to take a look at the various prices but it's quite possible getting Pipeline is still the best value for the money (it would have to be more than $150 than the Pro version for it not to make sense, assuming you also want the curve editor).

Kelleytoons (10/4/2017) (it would have to be more than $150 than the Pro version for it not to make sense, assuming you also want the curve editor). It is more. That's partly why I'm asking. Otherwise buying the Pipeline version would be the obvious choice.

Actually, RL told me last month it was only offered free with Pipeline through last month, so I upgraded to Pipeline. If you upgrade to it, you will get a free curve editor, and this offer will end in this month. Otherwise, you will need to pay to get curve editor. That was on 9/8

Then all is well! Although I didn't realise it had originally been stated as a temporary bonus.

Yeah, I don't even know how accurate that was, I admittedly got kind of pissed and felt like I was being pressured to buy 'now' or not have the chance to get the curve editor at anything approaching a sane price. Maybe it is still a limited time only deal. I honestly think it should be just included in iClone since every other 3d app I use has one included at no extra charge, and in the case of Blender and Cryengine, no charge at all. It seems something they should include to bring iClone up to par.

My memory might be off but I think the DUF files for Daz characters costed a fair bit before it became free. My hope is that whatever reason there is to charge for the curve editor similarly doesn't last forever and eventually everyone will have access to it.

Yes, I hope they havent forgotten the curve editor as it is a essential tool in a animation toolset. When asked for it they said it will be out in Q4, meaning now.
