Mocap Data Cleaning
Body mocap will often lead to situations of hip and foot sliding along with various abnormal limb jittering. Fix for the Hip Sliding- Sample out the torso keys to linear data and convert to curve data.
- Use Refine Key to down sample the curve data into a manageable amount of keys.
- Use the Curve Editor and the Transformation Gizmo to inspect the abnormal sliding and direction.
- Use the Scale tool in the Curve Editor to fix the sliding issue.
Fix for the Foot Sliding- iClone Reach Target can be seen as a type of Lite IK effector, thereby, just attach two spheres to the ankles and use the IK Constraint.
- Use the Lite IK effector to fix the sliding in the steps.
- Review and compare the final result with the original movements.
