1. Know what system units Unity requires.
2. Set you 3ds Max system units to match Unity.
Here is where the problem lies.3. Import the animation to max
"The file system units is..... The scene system unit is."
~ Match file to system units???
~Match system units to file units???
One of the these setting is correct.
When the correct system unit is selected....4. Export to Unity.
Everything matches... no more guessing.

You are aware that Unity has an alembic Importer, right?
Unity Alembic Importer thx for fast response , yes i using the alembic import from marzda animation. the entyre animation was done in iclone 7 " the last you see the mortal kombat animation, ", i always work porting things ( animations scenarios, etc ) using CM, cause i see was the metric system give me more accuracy for interchange betwen iclone and 3d max for render in octane render ( including alembic animations ) in this case i exporting direct from iclone 7 to unity ( the animations in alembic, the scene in fbx ) and the scene looks like a toy for the fighter, ( i can upscale and downscale easy inside unity the alembic animation without any problem, but i want a clean workflow ) i know the system unity use is Meter ( i see it on unity foruns ) but i dont know how to set the alembic metric system ( i never got this problem when import the iclone alembic inside 3d max ) btw sorry for english i dont use google now.
