The fact that faceware will be available is good news but Iclone Pipeline is list at $700. That means that face ware will cost at least $800.00. No as affordable as I thought.

I don't think so. Regarding this Joe thread , it'll cost 1 190$ US if you own Iclone 7 (plugin+Faceware live)

I think he's talking about the "discount" price -- which could be as low as $700 initially.

And as I said in that thread, traditionally such discounts have been at least 20% (and sometimes as high as 50%, although I'd doubt that here). I would expect this to come in at anywhere from $800 to just under 1K. It's still ridiculously expensive for an iClone plugin, and I think RL will be missing out on making a lot of money from this, but I assume that MOST of that price is going to FW with only a small amount (and therefore not a lot of wiggle room) to RL. Too bad, as there are far cheaper solutions, but for the money I would expect (and demand) this to be a kickass solution with needing little to no post mocap cleanup.

Pure speculations of you. You don't know the Reallusion business like lot of users. See the true facts. Did you see the Indie Price for a Xsens/Faceware/Iclone price? 7950$ for the suit + 1500$ faceware and I don't know the Xsense plugin for Iclone. Clearly not hobby market but Indy. Maybe because they need more horizon to grow up. I understand Reallusion that today having very advance feature animation and very very easy to use have to be paid. This feature are not sell just for fun , it's clearly dedicated for business production. There's some toys now for playing with facial and body mocap (faceshisft/brekel/fclone,etc... So for me it's not a ridiculous price . It's a good deal to use Broadcast tool.

"Siggraph is the world’s largest, most influential annual conference and exhibition in computer graphics and interactive techniques: Five days of research results, demos, educational sessions, art, screenings, and hands-on interactivity featuring the community’s latest technical achievements, and three days of commercial exhibits displaying the industry's current hardware, software, and services."
It's not really for consumer or hobbyst. Reallusion are there to show there pieline for Game industry, and seriously I really don't know if they have competition in this niche : Character Creation with facial/body/cloths animation ready to use in the most popular game engine only with... SLIDERS!!!!!

You're just deluding yourself -- I worked in the industry for decades and I can tell you for a fact you can't get more than a hundred of so independent shops making a living nowadays (leaving out the big boys who wouldn't look at iClone if it were free). So they sell a few hundred (if that) copies when they could sell thousands (tens of thousands). You're just clueless. But that's okay -- I've dealt with a lot of fan boys with aspirations to make it big. When you have your first big game or movie sold let us know.
