So the manual says:

Metallic - replaces the slot of Specular Channel
Roughness - replaces the slot of Reflection

Test result of conversion:

Roughness takes inverted Specular Channel (which is fine I can re-invert it and adjust as I wish)
Metallic takes nothing - just black

Why?
I can sure drop the maps manually after conversion, but it would be nice to have an automated conversion consistent with the manual.

On a positive note - Color Adjustment panel is great!

I am not sure if this is what your looking for but here is a nice video on shaders conversion. I found videos a little easier to understand sometime:

Thanks, it is a nice video and I understand how it works. But my problem is to have an easy converter from traditional to PBR.
I had a metallic look of a prop in ic6. If the converter would took the right path and did what it supposed to do (according to the manual), I would not have to spend much time making the prop look metal again in IC7 (maybe a little adjustment here and there).

If you have black in the metallic channel, it wont be metallic. Make it white or gray, depending on the level of shiny you need.

I know that Rampa Smile
But my point here is totally different.
First, I am referring to the automated conversion from "Traditional" to "PBR" in CC2 actually. This is something I made in CC v1.5 and converting to PBR in CC2.0
After that many tests, i figured the program is actually trying to make its best to convert properly. But the conversion algorithm is not straightforward.
It converts properly to PBR some traditional maps but produces an unexpected result with others.

Here's again some example.

Traditional maps for golden hooks:

After switching to PBR... took a few seconds to convert and produced this:

Again, I can fix all that, but it would be nice to have it convert maps straightforward and let us decide how to deal with the result.
