The video below is a moving tableau of the famous photo of the Raising of the Flag on Iwo Jima on top of Mount Suribachi towards the end of the second world war. Audio is a reading of "In Flanders Field", a poem by Lieutenant Colonel John Alexander McCrae, a doctor and soldier in the first world war, with musical accompaniment by John Mcdermott form the album Remembrance. I made it as my little tribute to those past and present that defend freedom for everyone in the hopes that it helps people remember what is important to us all.
