As a follow up, RL could now reproduce the issue, and a fix has been announced for IC 6.52.

As it was deemed unreproducible by RL, I have added precise steps in a comment. I also remembered the workaround we (I think Rampa) came up with. Load your CC character (without a terrain present) uncheck Foot Contact, and resave. The problem only seems to occur when Foot Contact is checked for the CC character when it's loaded.

OK, I ran into that too. It definitely was fixed, but is broken again... BTW, you can't blame the Feedback Tracker, it is a way to report these things and get noticed.

This error has already been fixed. He has been back since the last IC update. He is concerned again only the CC-Avatare (no matter whether Natalie and Christian or himself created) and mainly Highmap terrain. (No matter whether present or self-made) The tip of Rampa works and is perfectly correct .. It is synonymous, if you load the Avtare before and then the terrain. It's a pity that some mistakes just appear again and again and seem to be irredeemable. Therefore, in the feedback tracker a tread to open up I think therefore quite meaningless.
Likewise, some older Avatars IC 6 simply mercilessly crash.E.g. Santa Clause from this package (The girls work)"Christmas character" http://www.reallusion.com/ContentStore/csproduct.aspx?contentid=AIC300DIENU010620081114001 Whoever has it can even try it himself. Too bad the part is already "Uralt" but always gladly used (especially for the coming Christmas season). I still have some "old Haudegen (G2 - G3) which cause the same problem.
Greetings from Germany Postfrosch (Werner)

It happens with any terrain. It seems to be partially solved. I have it happen if I load a terrain that is above the grid. Try putting your terrain below the grid. As for the height-map terrain, you just have work around it as your doing.

I have a vague recollection that this issue has been raised before, so I hope someone can help me solve this. I have a scene where I have used one of the terrains "Danube Riverside" from "Terrains of the world" when I load any CC character, the characters clothing distorts as per image. When I delete the terrain and bring the character back in there is no distortion. If I then add the terrain back in, the character does not distort, but if I add a new character that will distort. Ok I think I've now been able to establish that the glitch is in that specific terrain as when I load another terrain from the pack the problem doesn't seem to exist. Still curious to know if anyone knows if there is a solution...in the meantime I'll use another terrain.
