Kevin, I couldn't agree more. This has been pointed out in the past for previous versions of iClone as well, so we'll hope for the best.

You have 1 gig of video memory listed' WHAT::crazy:!!!!!......Nothing will run with one gig of video memory
I'm with Quadro 2000 - 1GB Vram, i can run iClone, i can do all. i have AMD 5870 - 1GB Vram and can do all with iClone. iClone can work with 500mb Vram So, first learn how to work with RT renders, then you can say what can and what can't do it

Hard to see unless full screen but this has 15 animated characters moving around, massive amounts of textures all set to 4096 shadows lights on and on...
This project I made takes 5.6 gig just to open
This one 6.1 gigs to just to open
This one takes 5.9 gigs to open
Not trying to be mean rude or anything but 1GB or even 2 GB is not realistic for real world use...for almost any 3d software...:)

Real Time render - 2012, AMD HD 3870 with 500MB Vram, 4K resolution export If you wanna play the game. As i say, Iclone don't need 8Gb Vram, iClone can work with 500MB, but is slow. Yours projects want more Vram, i can tell you why, i know the reason. Hardware depends running time, nothing else. Not everyone is ready to give a lot of money for luxuries. iClone 7 wll work with PBR, It would be more complicated.

tmyusuf (10/17/2016) I have a simple question, Why you do not buy a new PC?Why ? I can do everything i want, i can do everything you can and i don't play games. I'm with workstation, new is 8000$ or more, no way to buy a new for nothing. It's one of the nice things with iClone - work with almost any hardware.

Optimal System Specs
- Quad core CPU or higher
- Windows 8.1 or better
- 8GB to 32GB System RAM
- 20GB free hard disk space
- Display Resolution: 1920x1080 or better
- Color Depth: True Color (32-bit)
- Graphics Card: NVidia Geforce GTX 900 Series / AMD Radeon R7 Series or better
- Video Memory: 8GB or higher recommended
- DirectX 11 or better
Hi Kevin, We will certainly be updating the requirements for iClone 7 and for sure the minimum for 6 could do with a refresh. However the minimum requirements are just that, the minimum requirements. They do not indicate performance which will obviously be low. You would also need to reduce all your settings to the minimum (hence minimum requirements). I do think your optimum requirements are a little steep though, especially with regards to video ram, but of course it does depend on what you plan to use iClone for. When I'm travelling I use a laptop which has 16GB Ram and a GeForce 960M 4GB VRam and this works great with iClone 6. During an average session I will normally have iClone 6, Character Creator and 3DXchange 6 open and don't encounter any problems. Sure I'm not working on an epic production in iClone but still all my projects load fine and I can still have everything on High setting. Even my older laptop with 8GB Ram and 2GB VRam still allowed me to work in iClone providing I kept projects at a manageable level. It's also important to remember that not everyone has or can afford a high end system. We don't want to frighten off users with over exaggerated system requirements. Providing the user understands they may need to make sacrifices on project and texture sizes, they can still enjoy virtually everything iClone has to offer with a mid range system.

Im not trying to argue with anyone :) I agree with everyone, I know iclone will run with 2GB on low settings quick view, I have done extensive hardware testing with iclone and about 50 other 3d programs. I only brought it up because in the last few weeks I have helped a few people who had used the minimum specs listed on the website to buy hardware. One person was even trying to use the on board graphics listed at 1GB. There is nothing worse then telling someone they just dont have the hardware to do what they want to do, even after they bought a system with the listed minimum specs on the website, only to find out they need more video memory..This has happened a few times now. Case: One person spent 299 on a used laptop with on board graphics cause it had the 1 gig of video memory required, listed on reallusion website, with the intention to run iclone and in the future get the neuron system and kinetics. There is nothing on the website saying this wont work. So based on whats listed on reallusion website this would work. If a person buys a computer based on what listed say for the direct x version 9 and gets a computer with 512 megs of video memory expecting to run iclone 6 neuron and wants to do VR etc there is nothing that says that 512 is not enough to do that. In my many years of experience in the 3d world 512MB and 1 Gb of video memory is not realistic for the common user.. I just thought that a few quick adjustments on the specs could help clear up some issues for future users interested in buying reallusion products. I love reallusion products and like everyone, I want people to fully enjoy the reallusion products. But I also know people have expectations and when someone invests their hard earned money they want the best bang for there buck. Again im not trying to argue with anyone or bitch or anything :D I just felt based on what I have dealt with, with other users a few simple adjustments to the specs would clear up some confusion for future users. Most people dont buy a computer to only run reallusion products but to use a computer for many purposes.
Many computer users do not know anything about hardware, they rely on the sales person at the store, listed specs, friends, family etc to help them out with purchases.
Based on whats listed now on the reallusion website I could buy a 199 laptop with 512MB video memory and run in DX9 and use the neuron and do VR and run all the plug ins etc as advertised.
A few small adjustments to the specs would in the future help to avoid further issues for users that's all I am trying to say :D I would of never said anything had the issue not come up a few times already :D
Its just a suggestion :)
